The 116 signatories to the original EGM request will no doubt recall the very first resolution that was put to the Board at that time:

" That the non-renounceable pro rata entitlements issue announced by the company to the ASX on 7^th November 2008 be withdrawn and, if deemed necessary by the board, the offer is to be reissued on terms that permit the issue of no more than 20% of currently issued capital."

Anton Tarkanyi is an investment banker (colloquially, a money shuffler) with an office in Savile Row, London, amongst other places. He has been involved in a host of “funding activities” and businesses including property investments, telephony and now, strangely enough, diamond mining. He is constantly out of old ventures and into new ones. Over the last year or so CVI shareholders have come to realise they have been in the midst of one of his recent “business vehicles” Canzar resources.
